LOADWISE LAST WINDING SWITCH
DON'T RUN OUT OF ROPE ON THE WINCH DRUM!
The Loadwise last winding
switch is designed to provide a simple solution to meet the requirements of
various standards including the United Kingdom L.O.L.E.R. regulations-1998 in
respect of personnel carrying equipment.
The device has a heavy duty nylon roller mounted on an adjustable spring
loaded arm that follows rope movements on the winch drum, when the minimum permissible number of rope wraps are left on the
drum a switched (open)
contact is made and this can be used to operate the appropriate alarm or
motion cut function.
